Investment funds are managed by highly skilled staff and need to be scalable, resilient and above all accurate. Downtime, slow response, inaccuracies and errors cause loss of production for expert resources and can be extremely expensive.

The system provides accounting, banking, billing and reporting facilities for Private Equity Funds.

The system provides:

• A full ledger facility for posting multi-currency transactions
• Integration with external banks through SWIFT for submitting transactions and reconciliation of bank accounts
• Integrated online reporting system
• Client forecasting and billing facility
• Full integration with a back end accounting system

The system is developed on.NET 4, SQL Server 2008 and SharePoint 2010 and is hosted on virtualised 64bit Windows 2008 Servers.

For scalability and resilience for the new system is deployed on dual load balanced servers for the web site and business logic. External users benefit from an additional three load balanced web servers at an external data centre.
